I have always wondered and never looked into how Vista knows when it is online with the little globe over the network icon and today I found out how it does this. This might not be anything surprising to many of you but I thought I would share this little tidbit. information
I was transferring files from computer to computer the other day and was getting some odd data transfer windows from Vista. The only one I was able to get a screenshot of was this one that shows a positive number of items remaining and negative number of bytes remaining. jobs
